Onboarding Program
(November 2014 NBKA Launch, April 2016 QAC Launch: Ongoing Thereafter)

In 2014, I played a pivotal role in the organisational development of Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles - sole distributor of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Qatar - by setting up the company's first ever Onboarding Program (OP). After a month of in-depth research and OP design, and presentation of the concept to the NBKA General Manager, Department Heads and the HR Director, I made preparations for its launch and ongoing implementation. 

 

The implementation phase started with a training session on the rationale for the OP and its business benefits (see opposite), and the tasks completed by both the Departmental Manager (known as the Senior Onboarding Partner) responsible for the management functions of the OP and his designate (known as the Junior Onboarding Partner) responsible for the administrative activities in the OP. 

 

The OP was launched in NBKA for all new hires on November 1st 2014 and, due to its success, in Qatar Automobiles Company - sole distributors of Mitsubishi and Fuso vehicles - on April 1st 2016.
